Future Plans for the Site

I have been thinking for a while what direction I want to take the site now that I am wanting to change up my content. My new plan is to focus the site on after play reports, reviews, and the occasional new monster. I have had some good success in using the site as a focal point for my online games and am grateful for those of you who sign up to play in my games.

I am enjoying semiregular online gaming primarily still with Dungeons and Dragons 5e and Dungeon Crawl Classics. Bride of Cyclops Con just finished up and I enjoyed running both a game of 5e and a variant of DCC, Dinosaur Crawl Classics. My team and I were thoroughly beaten in the DCC tournament, but it was a lot of fun.

I haven’t gotten a regular campaign going back up like I planned. The majority of people have a hard time being able to commit to a long running online game and that is ok. I would rather folks be honest instead of try to force one more thing into their already busy schedules. One shots are a lot of fun.

I have a few things I am working on. I still have Winged Warriors in progress and am working on an adventure for Xcrawl Classics called Nooga Crawl, based off of my hometown of Chattanooga. I have some health concerns that have reduced the amount of time I have had available to run games, but I am planning on picking things more regularly as soon as things get better. I have a desire to run all of the Dungeon Crawl Classics Modules from #1 to the #99, maybe before DCC #100 comes out. (I saw some previews of it and it looks amazing!) I also am looking to do some kind of Xcrawl recurring event where players compete for the ultimate level of fame across multiple events. I plan to do at least one 5e one shot game a month.

As a final thing, I am happy to show off my DCC belt buckle and final patches that I received as Road Crew rewards.

Roadcrew Swag 2020!
